At Dirostahl, we want to provide our customers and suppliers with data on the complex topic of carbon footprints that is just as high-quality and reliable as the quality products they are accustomed to from us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After several months of preparation and numerous project and expert discussions, we are pleased to inform you of our successful verification in accordance with the standards:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. DIN EN ISO 14064 \u2013 CCF Corporate Carbon Footprint<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. DIN EN ISO 14067 \u2013 PCF Product Carbon Footprint<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    by the certification body GUTcert, Berlin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What this means in concrete terms:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. In recent months, we have prepared a greenhouse gas report and had it verified. Based on this greenhouse gas report, the Corporate Carbon Footprint for Dirostahl was calculated. Each calculation step in the report was verified during the audit. This allows us to actually evaluate the effectiveness of our energy efficiency measures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Based on the verified data, we can now, upon request, calculate a Product Carbon Footprint for the forgings and issue a PCF certificate. For the calculation, we use FRED<\/strong>, the carbon footprint calculator, which applies the methodology of DIN EN ISO 14067 in a standardized manner and has been verified in accordance with this standard.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      To close the loop between data collection and calculation, we also had the methodology we use to process the data verified by GUTcert in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14067.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
