On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Dirostahl in Remscheid-Lüttringhausen hosted the meeting of the Research & Technology Committee of the German Association for Bulk Metal Forming (Industrieverband Massivumformung e.V.).
The committee members took the opportunity to exchange ideas on current research projects and technical developments in bulk metal forming. The agenda included presentations of new project ideas, discussions on innovation potential, and a look at future challenges for the industry.
A highlight of the day was the plant tour at Dirostahl, where guests gained fascinating insights into our production processes and the manufacturing of open-die forged parts.
And because at Dirostahl we don’t just talk about efficiency – we live it – lunch was served right in the production area, grilled on a forged component that still retained residual heat. Sustainability can indeed be delicious!
