On Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, Dirostahl in Remscheid hosted the meeting of the “Research & Technology” Committee of the Association for Bulk Metal Forming (IMU).

One of the most important traffic junctions in Remscheid, the “Eisernstein junction” has been reconstructed into a modern roundabout over the past 2 years.

The event was opened by Dr. Tim Rekersdrees, COO of Deutsche Edelstahlwerke, and Markus Lüke, CEO of Dirostahl.

After several months of preparation, Dirostahl was successfully verified according to DIN EN ISO 14064 – CCF and DIN EN ISO 14067 – PCF.

Dirostahl has agreed with the Swiss Steel Group and Flender to exchange data on downstream emissions.
